No Expectations – No Disappointments

But in reality, we can avoid it only understanding that if we wouldn’t have any expectations, we wouldn’t be disappointed at all.

Everyone Has Own Dreams

No one is responsible for your own happiness but you. No one shouldn’t make you happy – don’t rely on anyone in your happiness. It’s only your choice – be happy or not. Other people can only support you in your happiness. Very often we think, that if we have a life partner that he or she has to make you happy, make your dreams come true. And this is the most common reason why people get divorced, break up and get disappointed in people and love.

Everyone has own dreams and vision of a happy life. Your partner can share your opinion on most things but it doesn’t mean he has to agree with you in everything. It’s normal to have some differences and support each other’s hobbies and features, desires, and dreams.

If your partner will do exactly what you want and how you want, it can make him unhappy because it would mean he is suppressing his own desires and doesn’t live the life he wants. And the worst scenario – when you find out it in years when you have kids and a lot of memories and built a life together. You would ask – why didn’t you tell me before that you like it differently? He would say – I was afraid to disappoint you or make you unhappy, or I told you but you didn’t hear me… And the same thing you can apply to work, relationships with your relatives and friends etc.

Understanding and Acceptance Brings Freedom

So if you would learn don’t have any expectations initially, you could learn how to really be happy just the way you are, living the life you have, surrounding by people you have in your life. This simple understanding and acceptance brings freedom and opens the door to self-development and self-exploration, the way to happiness, harmony, and peace. Be grateful for that experience you have in life, it will help to get more.

Life Experience Creates Expectations

Also, while we get life experience, live particular moments in life, we get some sort of expectations. Like we can predict some things can happen in a certain way because we had similar experience or just think that it can happen a certain way. And when things happen differently, because life is unpredictable, we can get disappointed, lost and not ready to accept changes or new circumstances.

Life is Unpredictable

Sometimes it’s hard to adjust thoughts and life but we simply need to understand that everything is changing all the time and life is unpredictable. We can’t control everything or sometimes we can’t make things happen the way we want. And it’s not bad. Even when “bad” things happen in life, we should stop, take a break and think why is it happening. Maybe it’s just a sign and we should learn from it or what seems bad now can be good on time because there are no good things without bad once.

Trust the Universe and God

We need to trust the universe and God – they know better what is better for us. Even if we want to achieve something maybe we can’t achieve it not because we try not enough, but because it’s not what would really make us happy and we simply need a push into other direction. And all the things in perspective are good ones but some of them require a tough experience and without it we wouldn’t achieve or reach our path. So just believe in your abilities, never stop learning, trust the universe and God – know, that God loves you and protects you – only ask for help and you will get it… And don’t expect anything from life and people, live the experience which is prepared for you and you will find peace and happiness![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
